NABH Assessor Training Course

(Pre-accreditation entry level hospital and small healthcare certification programme)

NABH proposed to have three days assessor training programme at New Delhi during October 3 to
October 5, 2016.

Course details and fee: The course is non-residential and participant has to attend all the three days.
The course involves the interactive teaching & exercises. The evaluation of the participants will be
based on the daily monitoring of performance and a written examination. The successful participants
would be considered for empanelment as NABH assessors for Pre-accreditation entry level hospital
and small healthcare certification programme. The fee for the training course is Rs. 15,000/- which
include the course material, lunch & tea for three days. The fee for nursing candidate is subsidized
and is Rs. 12,000/- only. The fee is to be paid by DD in favour of ‘Quality Council of India' payable
at New Delhi.

Categories Essential Criteria for applying for NABH Assessors Course


 MBBS with minimum of 8 years of experience of which a minimum
of 3 years should be in hospital.
For Clinician  MBBS with Post-graduate Degree or Diploma with minimum of 5
years of experience (post PG) of which a minimum of 1 years
should be in hospital
 Post-graduate in healthcare management/ administration (Degree
or Diploma) or equivalent with minimum of 8 years of experience
For Administrator (post PG) of which a minimum of 3 years should be in healthcare
management/ administration.

 GNM with minimum of 12 years of experience of which a minimum


of 8 years should be in hospital.
 BSc (Nursing) with minimum of 10 years of experience of which a
For Nursing Assessor minimum of 5 years should be in a hospital/ academic setting.
 MSc (Nursing) with minimum of 8 years of experience (post PG) of
which a minimum of 3 years should be in a hospital/ academic
setting

Desirable criteria:
 At least one year of work experience in an accredited/certified hospital.
 Training/ Course in Healthcare quality.
 Attendance at three day NABH program on Implementation course

the candidates for attending assessors’ course based on NABH requirements at the time of
announcement of the course (Category wise, specialty wise, region wise etc.).The decision of
the selection committee shall be final.
 Applying for the course does not guarantee selection for the course.
 Last date of submission of application is September 15,2016
 Completing the course successfully does not mean automatic empanelment by NABH.
Empanelment of successful participant would be done as per NABH criteria.
