 ABSTRACT

The research is related to the growing popularity and influence of Franchise in the Retail
business and how does it affect the upcoming retail industry of India, we will try to touch
as many as required facts as possible as to achieve the required objectives.

We will go through various sources available on internet, articles, printed books etc. To
try to explain the concept.

I had made personal visits to various franchise and conducted various interviews with
the staff in recent year which I feel can contribute greatly in the understanding of the
inner workings of the franchise.

Based on the data available and gathered through various sources, some important
results have been attained by which we can counter the limitations as to benefit the
Indian retail industry.

by me has been possible owing to the data and information collected from different
sources like websites, newspaper available on internet and visits to the site.
