GEAR OIL EP

( Available in ISO viscosity grades of 100,150,220,257,270,320, 460,680 & 1000 )

These are range of high quality gear oils manufactured from selected Base stocks &
blended with lead soap - Sulpher extreme pressure agents. In addition they contain
additives to increase adhesiveness & present film rupture under shock loading conditions.
They are very stable, have high resistance to foaming, good demulsibility characteristics
& fluidity at low temperature.

Velloils EP lubricants 100 are recommended for high speed single & double helical
gear sets utilizing a circulating system for spray lubrication. They are also suitable for
heavily loaded bearings where straight mineral oil do not have sufficiently high film
strength to provide effective lubrication.

Velloils EP lubricant 150 can be used in helical & spur gear sets having peripheral
speeds of 1000/2500 feet per minute & utilizing spray or splash lubrication. Again it
can be used for heavily loaded bearings requiring an oil of this type. This grade has an
extremely good record of satisfactory lubrication of main pinion gears in rolling mills in
the steel industry.

Velloils EP lubricant 220 & 320 can be used for slower speed gears in the 200-
2500 FPM speed range, and worm gears having rubbing speeds in the range 0-2000
FPM. Velloils EP lubricant 460 is recommended for slow heavily loaded worm, spur
and helical gears where exceptional adhesiveness is required and where shock
loading may be problem.

GEAR OIL ST

General characteristics

Velloils Gear oil ST are competitively priced gear transmission oils fortified to resist
wear, foam and oxidation while delivering long-lasting, responsive performance in light
to moderately heavy duty high-pressure systems. High viscosity indexes (95 and above)
assure consistent response through a wide temperature range.
Velloils Gear oil ST satisfied the following Standard.

Application Requirements

Modern high pressure systems require fluids which have lubricity and film strength to
retard wear in pumps, plus the viscosity stability and anti foaming characteristics to
responsively transmit power to cylinders, motors and gears. Since the systems require
passage of the fluid through critical valves, ports, bearings and other small clearances, the
fluids must have high oxidation resistance to avoid formation of gums and varnish. The
fluids must also have good rust resistance and water reparability, to eliminate the effects
of dilution and contamination from reservoirs and cooling tanks.

GEAR OIL EP

General Qualities and Characteristics

Velloils EP Gear oil are high quality transmission and gear oils suitable for cars, trucks
buses and construction equipments operating under moderate conditions. They are
formulated from finest paraffinic bases stocks and extensively proven additives. They
have a wide range of applications in the transport, earth moving and construction
industries.
Velloils EP Gear Oils are composed of high viscosity index base oils, additive treated
where necessary to give good fluidity and low oil drag in winter. They contain a balanced
extreme pressure additive package designed to prevent scuffing and scoring of gears
despite high speed and low torque operations. Further additive treatment enhances
oxidation stability and gives excellent protection against rusting, corrosion and foaming.

Application Requirements and Recommendations

Velloils EP Gear Oils are suitable for service - fill of some hypoid, spiral bevel spur
and double reduction gear axles, either on or off the highway where API GL - 4
performance oils are recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Similarly, they are
equally satisfactory in manual gear boxes (Constant or Synchromesh) auxiliary gearboxes
and transfer boxes. They can be used with confidence in steering boxes and oil -
lubricated universal gear joints.

Velloils EP Gear Oils meet the requirements of the now obsolete US Military
specification MIL - L - 2105.

increase adhesiveness & present film rupture under shock loading conditions. Contains
friction modifier. They are very stable, have high resistance to foaming, good
demulsibility characteristics, seal compitable & fluidity at low temperature.

Vellopower EP lubricants 100 are recommended for high speed single & double
helical gear sets utilizing a circulating system for spray lubrication. They are also
suitable for heavily loaded bearings where straight mineral oil do not have
sufficiently high film strength to provide effective lubrication.

Vellopower EP lubricant 150 can be used in helical & spur gear sets having
