Regular and Irregular Verb

Regular and Irregular Verb. Verbs are very important in part of speech.
They should be used in constructing a sentence. It means that we should use verb
when we want to make a sentence. For this, in this occasion I want to share about
Regular and Irregular Verb. Let’s discuss.

1. Regular Verb

When we make a sentence by changing the verb into Past Simple (V2) or Past
Participle (V3), usually we just add “d/ed” after verb 1 ( V1 ) because most
of verbs are “Regular Verb”.

Example:
I open the door every morning.
I opened the door yesterday.
I have opened the door.
They listen to the radio.
They listened to the radio.
They have listened to the radio.

2. Irregular Verb

However, there are some Irregular Verbs not able to be added “d/ed”.
They should be changed as rules and they should be known.

Example:
I write a letter.
I wrote a letter.
I have written a letter.
They speak English.
They spoke English.
They have spoken English.

This is a list of some irregular verbs in English. Of course, there are many
others, but these are the more common irregular verbs.
