ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (AEC)

The Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) is an international


association in the southeast Asia which has ten member countries such as
Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thhailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Lao
PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam (Chia, 2013)
As an international association, ASEAN has regional project from many
side, include economic. Asean Economic Community (AEC) is a cooperation
between its member to increase of economic sectors (Stroupe, 2015 : Shimizu,
2010).
Asean Economic Community has four pillars. They are single market and
production base, competitive economic region, equitable economic development,
and integration into global economy. Single market is a free area to flow of goods,
services, skill labor, and capital. From this large cooperation can send some of
signals to the each country which will be profitable to trade and invest in ASEAN.
So all members can rise the incomes and trade. (Petri,2010)
