something is wrong.

SCENE 1 The Office

*Can be changed, just general idea needs to stay the same*

Nick: How can I help you today?

Seth: I am looking to make an investment to prepare for my future. This is the first firm
I have been to so far. I don’t know much about investing at all. Hopefully, you can help
me with that?

Nick: Of course. You have come to the right place. I have had great success in the
stock market. If you choose to invest with me, I guarantee that you will make money.
You will receive high returns, consistently. There is little risk; I ensure you that your
money will be safe.

Seth: Are you sure about that? I plan on investing a large sum of money. If I lose it, I
will be in financial ruin.

Nick: My system works. Your money will grow fast. I have many clients who are very
satisfied with the returns they are receiving. I promise you will not regret your decision.
*Stop filming and start again*

Seth: Okay. I have decided. I will invest with you. I trust that you will protect my
money.

*Nick slides commitment form in front of Seth*

Nick: Good choice. I just need you to sign here…

Seth: Thank you.

Nick: I will keep you updated on the status of your investment. You will be pleased; I
am sure of it.

Seth: Have a nice day.

Nick: You too.

Seth: Yes, okay. I can wait.

*Approximately 30 minutes later*

Seth: Yes, hello. Can you send me the status? I would like to have a hard copy.

Seth: What? I just want a paper copy of the information.

Seth: Hello? Hello?

*Hangs up phone*

SCENE 1 The Good Investment

Nick: How can I help you today?

Seth: I am looking to make an investment to prepare for my future. This is the first firm
I have been to so far. I do not know much about investing at all. Hopefully, you can
help me with that?

Nick: Making an investment comes with risk. Before we go any further, I want to make
sure you know that there are no guarantees in the stock market.

Seth: What does that mean?

Nick: In other words, I cannot ensure that your money will be safe. Of course, I will
invest it where I think it will reap the most profit with the least amount of risk, but it will
never be completely safe. I will closely monitor your investment to make sure it is stable
and growing.

Seth: Okay. Is it always like this?

Nick: Yes, investing in anything comes with risk. Where the investment is made
determines the amount of risk. We can discuss what type of returns you are looking for
and how much risk you are willing to accept.

Seth: I appreciate you being honest. I know a lot more about investing than I did
before. I will have to think about it, of course, I do not want to act on impulse.

Nick: You are welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to call.

Seth: Have a nice day.

Nick: You too.

*Stop filming and start again*

*A few weeks later*

Nick: Welcome back.

Seth: I have researched around, and I am ready to make this investment with you.

Nick: That’s Wonderful. I want to show you my registration and broker license, I show
every client so there is never any doubt.

Seth: I appreciate that.

Nick: Now let’s talk about what you are trying to get out this investment to make sure
that we place your money where it will benefit you the most…
