Piedra del peñol

This place is located in Medellin – Antioquia, this stone is the most visited place by
the people arrive to Medellin, and this stone is one the highest places of Colombia,
if you go up the stairs that has 649 steps, you will have a view of all Medellin,
therefore in the view from the top, you can see the beautiful guatape dam, ideal place
for lovers of water sport.

How to get…
When you arrive to the transport terminal, you should take a taxi, the taxi go out of
transport terminal and turn left for take to the north avenue, after you go along for
about one kilometer, you will see the juanes park of peace on your left and the big
restaurant on your right, then you should take the bridge, when you pass the river
go down the big street, again you go along, you will go past a high school on your
left it is called santo domingo de guzman, after you turn right for take to the freeway
Medellin-Bogota abut some kilometer, then you go along until arrive to the town of
guatape, after you should go up the knoll and in the end you will find the Piedra del
peñol.
