JUSTIN: Good evening, Guen! You look wonderful tonight! It’s a privilege for me to be right here beside
you hosting the Mr. and Ms. UE Caloocan 2011 Coronation Night!

GUEN: Thank you! I’m happy hosting this event with you as well, Justin! Indeed, this is the most awaited
night for our exquisite candidates. And everyone is excited about this pageant, right?

JUSTIN: That’s right, Guen! Our spectators have their own bets on who will win this prestigious pageant.

GUEN: You know what, Justin? I’ve observed that our candidates looked more than astonishing
especially on their creative wear.

JUSTIN: Well, looking at our sixteen stunning candidates here, I’d say it will definitely be a tough night
for them.

GUEN: But of course only two of them will get the outstanding titles by the end of this pageant. So to
help us decide who among our candidates deserve to be the next MR. and MS. UE CALOOCAN, here is
the panel of judges:

JUSTIN: Our first judge is one of the official designers of Mutya ng Pilipinas, Miss Philippines and Ms.
Earth. He is a management graduate of the University of the East, and a renowned fashion designer.
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Robert Zamora.

GUEN: Next, we have the Executive Producer of “Bandila” and Associate Producer of “TV Patrol”. He is a
graduate of Communication Arts in University of the East – Caloocan. He currently teaches journalism
subjects in the same university. Please welcome, Mr. Engelbert Apostol.

JUSTIN: Our third judge is the brand officer of Careline Cosmetics Inc. and Pinkwater, Ms. Veniza
Lucente.
Our next judge is an actor and commercial model. He was previously seen in TV5’s teen – oriented TV
series “Lipgloss” and one episode in “Untold Stories”. He is known as Nikos, the SMP “Samahan ng
Malalamig ang Pasko” guy in Nestea Iced Tea advertisement. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Neil Coleta.

GUEN: Our fifth judge worked as a line producer in various mainstream and independent films under the
tutelage of her famous mentor like Maryo J. De los Reyes, Topel Lee and Joel Lamangan. Recently, she
portrays the bubbly but scheming servant in the top – rating primetime soap opera of ABS - CBN,
“Sabel”. Let’s all welcome, Ms. Sarah Pagcaliwagan.

JUSTIN: And lastly, our chief judge worked as a publicity executive specializing in lavish events like the
Academy Motion Pictures of Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) or better known as Oscars. He later became a
consulting stylist for Hollywood celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Pink, Britney Spears and Beyonce
Knowles. He was also a visual consultant for Giorgio Armani and Chanel cosmetics. Currently, he is the
creative director of Post Ad Ventures – one of the leading advertising agencies in the Philippines. We
proudly introduce, Mr. Joseph Benedicto Aloysius Montelibano.

GUEN: There they are! The people who will be responsible in deciding who will be the next MR. and MS.

PAULO: Thank you, Guen! The final phase of UE Caloocan’s foundation week celebration never left
behind elegance and ingenuity. The pageant is not only merely about glamour and poise but also defies
the contestant’s characters as well.

DANA: I definitely agree with you, Paulo! I’m sure these candidates want to know how they will be
judged accordingly. So, the official criteria for judging of the Mr. and Ms. UE Caloocan 2011 are as
follows:

Beauty of face and body figure, 30%;

PAULO: Poise, Confidence and Character, 30%;

DANA: Intelligence and Wit, 30%;

PAULO: And Over – all impact, 10%; for a total of 100 %

That’s why Mr. and Ms. UE Caloocan never did fail to train our candidates to become all set for this
night. These activities are conducted to provide them enriching experiences that they must learn and
shared.
DANA: That’s right! Our candidates have changed from typical students to cordial candidates of this
pageant. They have now walked this stage with flair and style. Our pre – pageant activities helped them
so much to develop their outer and inner persona. They have transformed starting from the screening,
talent competition; the workshops; the photo shoots to the outreach programs. The candidates grew
more as a person after every activity. And for us to know what I’m talking about, let’s all watch this!
