Stacy has much improved in her lesson planning. Since my initial observation, she has taken time to write detailed lesson plans that
contain all the major components, and state and local standards. This effort shows in her teaching. She also has done well in adding
differentiated instruction, especially working with small group instruction.

Stacy has excelled in using technology in the classroom. She seamlessly enhances her instruction by using SMART boards. Schoology,
Nearpod, Chrome Books, and other applications. In addition, during my observations she employed several instructional strategies to
engage students. Students responded to her actions in both small group and whole group instruction.

Stacy has worked with her cooperating teacher to use data. She has examined student work to set up learning groups to differentiate
instruction. For example, she shared that recently she had looked at assessments on polygons and from these had created low,
medium, and high achieving groups. These groups were based on if the students had met certain learning goals.

Stacy is a positive person who cares and respects her students. She works well with all students and during my visits, it was evident
that she pays attention to how students learn. She is patient and during small group sessions, she set goals to improve the performance
of those who are struggling. Stacy also has reflected that she has focused on improving her classroom management. She had no
problem keeping the class in order, and she is doing well in this area.

educators. She pays attention to receiving advice to improve her teaching. It has been a pleasure to see how much she has grown
professionally during this experience.

Stacy has used charts to document student data. She has documented student progress especially in the math content area and has
made adjustments to her instructional planning. The majority of the planning involves setting up small group instruction for students to
reach new learning targets. Stacy is understanding now that data, however small, can become a powerful tool to guide instruction.
