Safety measures and precautions
1. Securing Permit to QP. 1.1.Miscommunication 1.1.1. Proper listening to instruction is required when QP focal
person giving instruction.
1.1.2. Supervisor who gathered permit shall properly passdown
the instruction from QP during the TBT. to workers prior to start
activity.
2.Transporting of Personnel/Equipment on-site 2.1. Collision with stationary and moving equipments 2.1.1. Licensed Operator to comply all the site driving rules
2.2. Unsecured loads 2.2.1. Make sure that loads are secured
2.3.Road Accident 2.3.1. Observe Speed Limits, Wear Safety belts,
2.4.Loss of Loads 2.4.1.Equipment carried in Equipment boxes
2.5.Personal Injury 2.5.1.Wear Protective clothing/safety boots
3. Leveling using grader including manual guidance 3.1.Hit by moving vehicles. 3.1.1.Wear High Visibility clothing/safety jacket.

3.4. Exposure to noise. 3.2.1. Fallow the heat stress prevention; 27-31 heat level
3.5. Slip and trip hazard. 50minutes work 10 minutes rest,1 cup of water every 20
minutes, 32-38 heat level 2= 40 minutes work 10 minutes rest 1
cup n every 20 minutes no lone workers aloud in activity under
the sun, 39-49 heat level 3= 30 minutes work 10 minutes rest 1
cup every 15 minutes., 40-53 heat level 4 = 20 minutes work 10
minutes rest 1 cup of water every10 minutes and 54 above heat
level 53= STOP all outdoor works.
3.2.2. Company shall provide water and shed for workers as
outdoor requirements
3.3.1.No workers and staff allowed smoking during the work
inside QP premises.
3.3.2.ABC fire extinguisher shall always at the work area during
the activity and in good working condition.
3.3.3. All spark potentials or open flames necessary for the work
shall approve by the QP. Focal person or is approved by
BASEEFA.
3.4.1. Workers shall wear safety ppe for the work designed for
the activity like earmuffs.
3.5.1. Eliminate causes of slip and trip hazard by making work
area clear from any obstraction.
3.5.2. Storage of materials should be segregated in the side of
working space to avoid slip trip and fall to the same level.

4. Dispossal of excess materials to dumpsite. 4.1.Vehicle accident. 4.1.1. Inspection should be done always before using the
machine and good maintenance should be consider at all times.
4.1.2. Drivers/operatos should fallow speed limit.
4.1.3. ensure that no workers around the blind area to avoid
accident.
