Guru
Guru
Guru
You”
The word GURU has lost its eternal meaning in the dynamic influence of the
western world. The word has no perfect substitute in English. Guru itself has
spiritual dimension and going by epistemology it would certainly relate to
ancient Indian wisdom documents. The consumerism ideology and globalization
has contaminated the very essence of the word and we see many different use
of the word in common parlance that has nothing to do with its original context.
We see words like love guru, sex guru, management guru, tech guru ad even
guru ghantal and phrases like “aap to mere bhi guru nikle”. Deep inside me I do
have a feeling that down the timeline a different genera of thought process has
evolved that could no more relate to Guru with absolute reverence.
I do not wish to convince and force any ideology but the term can significantly
bring us out of our mental stubbornness and subsequently help us give
momentum to our quest for meaning and purpose of the life. GURU according to
me means the God Universal that Resonates within You. This universality of
the almighty can be visualized in the lap of mother earth and resonance is
important because it’s the coherence and vibrations that gives musicality to your
life. Thus guided by the eternal entity GURU we can experience that we are not
just mind body complex but conscious spirits too. To introduce us with the guru
within an external worldly guru comes in life depending upon our preparation for
the journey of being a potential god to becoming a god in action and realizing
the meaning behind existence. The guru acts as a mirror and serves as a tool to
reveal the inherent reality. Guru enters our life to clean the clutter and introduce
us to the garden of heaven within where the god is in perfect resonance with
self.
