The Résidence du Festival welcomes every year a dozen
to do young directors who work there on their first or second
other fictional feature film project, in two sessions lasting four
setting and a half months.

Following their stay, the Residence prolongs its proactive
work with directors, from assistance with translation of their
script in French and to advice as concerns production.
Accommodation Information
The Résidence du Festival is located at 6, Cité
Malesherbes, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, a
centrally-situated quarter rich in history. The apartment, on
the 3rd floor of an early 20th-century villa, is divided into
both private and collective living spaces. Guestrooms are
available as well for the former residents visiting Paris.
Technical Information
Each individual room is equipped with a computer with a
high-speed Internet connection, television and VCR. The
shared spaces were designed to favour the moments of
exchange. A home-video screening room and vast
collection of DVDs are at disposal of the residents.
