Dear Madam/Sir,

I am a BBA graduate student from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India. I would like to apply to the
MBA program offered by the Brunel University London, United Kingdom.

Having observed the devastated, the economic and Commercial systems of Afghanistan, having been
severely impacted by the decades of conflicts and political skirmish, I as an Afghan young citizen consider
myself responsible to go for Management studies for gaining Managerial knowledge in order to utilize it in
the re-enhancement of the commercial, and economic systems of Afghanistan.

Before commencing my undergraduate studies, I have been engaged in a Part/Full-time work with the
Organization for Social, Cultural, Awareness, and rehabilitation(OSCAR) as a Finance, (2015-up to
December 2019), while working with OSCAR, I realized the disquieting socio-economic condition of
Afghanistan, the mismanagement of the major socio-economic matters of the existing assets, deterioration
of natural resources and commercial system, have triggered my enthusiasm in the MBA program at Brunel
University to gain knowledge on the modern managerial trends and commerce, and the ongoing socio-
economic and commercial complications in the region and their management strategies.

Although parallel to my regular studies and a part-time job in OSCAR, I played for the Provincial U16
cricket team in the year 2014, But my busy schedule and a keen interest in higher studies stimulated me to
quit the sports field and pursue the academic journey.

In the year 2015, I was awarded ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) Scholarship, commenced
my Undergraduate studies in the field of Business Administration in Brindavan Group of Institutions
affiliated under the Bangalore University, starting from 2015-2018. In addition to that, I did a one-year
Diploma in Human rights as a part-time course. During my studies, I had been an active member of our
College English Club for one year.

Apart from that, I have done a two-month internship at the Kabul Urban Transport Efficiency Improvement
(KUTEI), Kabul Municipality, Kabul-Afghanistan.

Along with the academic studies I have participated in a number of seminars and workshops, that
includes Two MUN (Model United Nation) conferences, Seminar on Emotional Intelligence, Three-day
workshop on the Management of Environmental issues, a two-day seminar on the imperatives of non-
violence and peacebuilding.
I became an active member of the Khudai Khitmatgar social Organization, operating actively in Kunduz,
mainly focuses on the distribution of stationaries to the poor children, willing to go to school but are not
able to afford it, moreover, the Organization also distributes the basic livelihood requirements to the poor
families.

During my undergraduate studies, my intent enthusiasm motivated me to take part in the commercial and
Management Workshops namely;
1. Banking and Finance Congress organized by the Chandigarh Business School of Administration.
2. B-Startup Event conducted by the Chandigarh Business School of Administration.
The B-Startup event, in which I represented my pioneering Business idea, needless to write that I along with
my team made it to the last round.

Additionally, my gravest willingness and attachment to the socio-economic, business-related issues,

encouraged me to instigate writing articles on the significant issues in Afghanistan and the region, as a
result, I started writing op-ed/Articles on a frequent basis, I write articles on the ongoing political, social and
economic issues. So far, my 7 articles have been published by 5 different magazines namely;
Eurasiareview.com, The Afghan Herald, The Afghanistan Times, DawatMedia24, Taand.com.
I am now an all-time Admin and a freelance writer/editor in Taand.com English Website.

Finally, I would like to state that my gained knowledge and experience during my undergraduate studies
will help me get selected in the MBA program offered by the Brunel University, London, which I consider a
constructive platform for youth like me to boost his/her career and effectively utilize it in the rehabilitation
of the commercial and socio-economic systems of my country and the region.

Sincerely,
