Dr. Mohan Limaye

Executive Director
International Medical Relief Society

Dear Dr. Mohan Limaye:

We understand that there are many qualified places you could have chosen to hold your meeting
at this year. Thank you for choosing our resort for your annual staff meeting. Facilitating a
meeting for your imperative organization would truly be an honor. However, we cannot justify
booking the conference room for free.

The conference area has been the pride of the Grand Geneva Resort for years, and we are famous
for providing a fair price for high quality service. For your three days, the highly sought after
conference room will be cleared, cleaned, and serviced for your personal convenience. We will
also arrange the furniture to suit your company's personalized needs.

Please understand that it is our tradition to have special staff members assigned only to the
conference room. They will be there to make you comfortable in every possible way. With the
high-quality personnel, the servicing of pristine equipment, and the fixed price of commodities
and utilities, we routinely charge a reasonable cost of $2,500 per day for the use of the
conference room.

I hope you will still decide to book with us. The room will be reserved in your name June 15th-
17th for a complementary two weeks. Take your time to decide if we are right for you. If not the
Grand Geneva, I hope you find an arrangement that fits your needs.

Sincerely,

Grand Geneva Resort

Dear Valued Customer:

Your concern has reached and touched us here at Yamaha Corporation. We are proud to
announce that we have decided to stop the production of products made with ivory altogether!

As you know, we’ve made a drastic change in the last few years. We reduced the amount of
ivory we used in our products, successfully replacing plastic for ivory in all but 0.2% of our
pianos as of January 2018.

In 2019, Yamaha Corporation will be 100% ivory free.

We can no longer, in good conscience, justify the manufacturing of ivory keys in our business.
Your valid concern has become our own. Economic benefit cannot outweigh the morally right
thing, which is replacing an animal harvested material with a man made one completely. No
cutting corners. No small percentage point spared. All plastic all the time.

We hope you are as excited as we are for this promising transition!

Warm regards,

Yamaha Corporation

Subject: Return of Personal Sale Calls

Over the past few years our sales rates have dropped alarmingly. The drastic change came after
our decision to stop field calls completely in hopes to cut costs. Management has come up with a
solution: We will be conducting personal sales calls three days a week. Studies show they will be
most beneficial on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

This decision is not unfounded. It’s no secret we have made significantly less sales in the past
few years, since we made the decision to stop personal sales calls altogether. The decision was
the right one at the time, but now that we have higher returns from our other ventures and
investments, we can afford to start funding in-person calls, once again. A recent study showed a
50% success rate of a sale taking place on phone/fax exclusively versus an 85% success rate
when the sales rep made personal contact.

Since this change is expected to be overwhelming at first, know that the management team is
here to help in any way possible. You will have more information in the following weeks as to
who will be assigned where and some other specifics.

Thank you for your cooperation in this time of change. Contact me if you have any questions or
concerns.

Subject: Introducing a Dress Code

Because of the influx of public relation responsibilities, including the opening of our doors to the
general public, I have been asked to develop a dress code that will ensure our company is seen in
a professional light.

We have not had a problem with professionalism or professional dress before. However, for the
sake of uniformity, please adhere to the following rules:

1. Stud earrings only.

2. No jeans, no leggings, no shorts, no skirts.
3. Dress pants only.
4. Dresses are allowed if they are worn with a jacket.
5. Plain T-shirts only; neutral colors, like white, brown, or black
6. If you choose to wear a tie, make sure it has a plain pattern like plaid or is one solid color
(nothing fluorescent or bright).
7. No tennis shoes, sandals, or flip flops. Black heels or dress shoes only.

Our professional dress code has been in place, unspoken, since the founding of the company. The
only difference is that it has now been written down. If you are questioning whether something is
appropriate to wear to work, please refer to this established list.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact
me.
