Welcome to

Ms. Kim’s
Class
Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, I want to be able to provide a
safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment. I
want my students to learn about
multiculturalism and learn to respect others’
differences. It is important for students to
work on their 21st century skills so I want to
incorporate as much of it as possible in my
lessons and allowing them to work and
brainstorm with their peers. While it is
necessary for some assignments to be graded,
I want most of my assignments to not have
any grades so that I can use the growth
mindset and not push for the fixed mindset. I
also do not want to have any punishment
systems unless something severe happens.
Classroom Rules ● These are the
main classroom
rules that I want
to establish.
● On the first day
of school, as a
class we will make
a community
agreement.
● I expect my class to try their
hardest and ask their peers
and me if they need their

help.
