1. Design a simply supported one way slab for a room having clear inside dimensions of 14
3.6 m x 8.0 m. Supported on 230 mm brick wall on all sides. Take live load = 3 kN/m2.
Use M25 grade concrete & Fe 500 steel. Sketch reinforcement details.

2. Design a cantilever slab for the following data : 14

Overhang of the slab = 2.0 m
Live load = 1.5 kN/m2
Concrete = M20
Steel = Fe 500
Apply necessary checks & sketch reinforcement details.

Design slab (S1) of the floor supported and R.C.C. columns as shown in fig. The floor
carries a live load of 4 kN/m2. Use concrete M20 & Steel Fe 415. Sketch reinforcement
details. c/c distance 4 m.

4. Design a square footing for the following data : 14

Size of column 450 mm x 450 mm.
Load on column 1550 kN (working load).
Concrete grade M20.
Steel grade Fe 500.
Safe bearing capacity of soil 250 kN/m2.

6. Design a circular column to carry an axial load of 1500 kN. Using helical reinforcement 14
