My objective as a freshman civil engineering student is to obtain an internship at a civil engineering firm in which I
will apply my knowledge from UNC Charlotte as well as have an impact on society.

EXPERIENCE
SUMMER OF 2015 – CURRENT
LAWN CARE SPECIALIST, FREEDOM LAWNS OF BRUNSWICK COUNTY
I oversaw caring for customers lawns. This included putting out fertilizers, weed control, fungicides, and
more. I also laid sod and put out mulch/pine straw.

GRADUATED, SOUTH BRUNSICK HIGH SCHOOL
I received a GPA of a 4.7, was a member of NHS junior and senior year, member of varsity lacrosse and
varsity soccer all 4 years of high school, and member of Science Olympiad team 10 th, 11th, and 12th grade. I
was captain of soccer team and lacrosse team my senior year, also received most improved for lacrosse my
sophomore year and coach’s award senior year for lacrosse. I won the regional event of Wright Stuff for
Science Olympiad my sophomore year and went on to place 16 th in state finals.

ACTIVITIES
I volunteered for many years at my local food panty where I packaged soap and rice to help individuals in need. I
was also an acolyte at my church for 5 years where I carried the cross and lit the candles on the alter. Lastly, I
volunteered helping 5-8-year old’s how to play soccer during my senior year of high school.
