Shopping Malls Are Here to Stay

Technology is unavoidable in today’s society. It affects most parts of our lives, especially what
we do with our free time. One affected area is shopping which is undeniable that the way of
shopping in today’s generation is continually being changed by technology. In order to survive
in the digital age, shopping malls will need to reinvent themselves and take advantage of
technology.

In this digital age, a lot of people especially teenagers has been shopping anything they want by
scrolling through their screens in order to keep up with the latest trend. Online shops provide
them the opportunity to shop 24/7, and also reward them with a ‘no pollution’ shopping
experience. It is convenient for them to shop comfortably even when they are in their
pajamas. They can get several brands and products from different sellers all in one place. It
enables them to find and compare the prices of the goods they want to buy easily without wasting
their time walking from one outlet to another outlet. It also saves their time and fuel to drive to the
outlet and searching for a parking lot. Moreover, they do not need to take a long queue when doing
the payment since it can be transferred through internet banking.

Nevertheless, even with the technology, shopping malls still open due to the fact that people like to
go there to see and try on clothes, shoes or things they want to buy directly, instead of just scrolling
them through their screens. Seeing the things we want to buy directly, enable us to feel at ease
since they are really in good condition and the materials match our taste. The joy of trying on pretty
clothes, shoes and some other things can intensify people’s good mood, moreover, people can mix
and match the size and colors. In shopping malls, visitors are not only able to shop but also hang
around chit-chatting, looking for food and movies in order to satisfy their hunger and interest.
Visitors can also go to the gym to ease their mind and be healthy, take their children to have fun
and meet new friends in the playing areas. It is also proven that most families like to go to
shopping malls as they can spend their whole day relaxing, shopping and having fun in there.

In addition, most shopping outlets in the shopping malls also have their own unique websites that
contain the newest trend of the goods and prices that are also available in the store in favor of
drawing more customers over the world, cases in point, Charles and Keith, Mango, Zara, and many
more. Shopping malls are also legal and trustworthy than some online shops that people find in
their screens.

All in all, the existence of shopping malls in technology generation is still beneficial to societies.
Societies can enjoy their time and waste their money on the things that boost their happy mood.
Shopping malls also enable them to bond and strengthen their family relationships; moreover, they
will not be easily tricked by some conmen.
