5. Are there assistive technology services (more specific evaluation of need for assistive technology, adapting
or modifying the assistive technology, technical assistance on its operation or use, or training of student,
staff, or family) that this student needs? If yes, describe what will be provided, the initiation and duration.
General education and special education teachers will need to be trained on how to appropriately leverage
Snap & Read’s Google Chrome Extension to effectively use with SEC student, Travis Porter, each school year.
Teachers will be held responsible for ensuring that once the extension is added to devices that it is leveraged
appropriately. LPES’ STS, Lorraine Dixon, will be responsible for pushing the extension out to student
devices. Marcus Borders, iTeach Coach, will be responsible for training teachers on using Snap & Read as
assistive technology. SEC partners will monitor Travis’ progress quarterly or as needed.
