It is with great pleasure I write this letter of recommendation in support

of Erica Savage seeking a teaching position here in Poway Unified. I have
had the privilege of being Mrs. Savage's master teacher this last school year
at Monterey Ridge Elementary. Her love and enthusiasm for this profession
started with her assisting me with planning and setting up the classroom for
the opening of the school year on our teacher work days. We team taught
many weeks together and Mrs. Savage took full control of planning and
instruction for two full weeks in my second grade class. Erica is highly
organized, knows the standards, and makes personal connections with her
students and families. Erica is a natural with great teacher instincts. I know
she has a lot of talent and experience to offer Poway Unified.

Mrs. Savage knows child development and has a passion for teaching
children. It was a delight to work with such a committed and knowledgeable
teacher. She would make a great addition to a grade level team and staff.
The school that ultimately hires Erica Savage will find itself fortunate indeed.
I hope to be lucky enough to teach with Erica again.
