How to describe people?

* In English there are words that describe people’s

character, and others to describe their physical
appearance. These words are called “adjectives”.

Remember:
-The Adjective is a word we use to tell us more about the noun.
- It comes:
a. before the noun: such as "a fat boy."
b. after the verb "be": such as "Ahmad is thin."
- The adjective can be:
a. short adjective: if it has one or two syllables (fast – heavy)
b. long adjective: if it has more than two syllables (beautiful – dangerous)

Example:
- Grandpa is an old man, but he walks slowly.
