ATLANTA, Ga. (January 27, 2019) – Kate’s Club, a local charity devoted to assisting
children with parental loss, will be hosting a charity bowling event this Summer. There
will be plenty of fun, games, and even a few surprises. All of this is part of the 16th
anniversary of Kate’s club, and the original six members will be in attendance.
This event will be open to all former and current members of Kate’s club, as well as
volunteers and other affiliates. It will be held at Bowlero, located at 775 Cobb Pl. Blvd. in
Kennesaw, Ga. This wide-open venue is practically brand new, and features a wide
variety of arcade games, as well as a 16-lane bowling alley.
As part of the event, snacks and drinks will be provided for all guests. According to a
representative at Bowlero, an assortment of “snack sized sandwiches and fountain drinks”
will be available at 2 p.m. Upon arrival, all bowling expenses from shoe rental to lane
time will be covered by Kate’s Club.
Guests are expected to arrive at 2 p.m. for the opening celebrations, and the final bowling
times are set to conclude at 5 p.m. At the halfway mark, Kate’s Club founder and CEO
Kate Atwood will conduct a short speech regarding the growth of the organization.
Following the interview, Kate will be available for interviews, and will be joined by the
original six members of the club.
“We are slated to host one of the biggest non-profit events in the Southeast this summer
and it should be nothing short of spectacular,” Kate Atwood of Kate’s Club said. “Having
the opportunity to let kids with such difficult backgrounds enjoy themselves for a day is
so empowering to us, and we are beyond thrilled that our original six members will be
there to join with the festivities.”
