 Received a Platinum level grant from the National Academy of Engineers for the Grand Challenge Scholars Program.
 Designed and built a peripheral nerve guidance conduit scaffold to be used with TMA:CAA polyampholyte polymers, focusing
on cell proliferation by inducing optimum conditions for neural growth.
 Conducted research on mesenchymal stem cell differentiation into tenocytes using high intensity short interval cyclic strain.
