Paragraph For Questions 33 & 34

It has been observed that in cases of certain compounds or ions, no single electronic structure can explain all the
properties of compounds or ions. Hence, more than one electronic structures are required for explaining the
properties of compounds or ions. This phenomenon is known as Resonance and the various electronic structures
are known as resonating structures. Resonance has an important role in deciding the stability of ions or molecules

Paragraph For Questions 53 & 54

A sequence is a function whose domain is the set of natural number. A sequence s 1, s2, ....... of real numbers is
said to have a limit  if lim sn = . If  < , then < sn > is said to convergent. The following are well known
n 
