It is a great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Najae Reynolds. I have known Najae for a year and a
half, and I have been very impressed with her positive attitude, school commitment, and work ethic.

Buckingham Charter Magnet High School is a small school that offers students a rigorous education. Najae has
taken the opportunity to challenge herself with taking college preparatory classes and AP. She is a strong and
competitive student holding a total weighted gpa of 3.7.

Ms. Reynolds is a well-rounded student. A few of her interests include: music producing, singing, dancing,
writing, poetry drawing, painting, and playing piano. She has been involved in the anime club, video game club,
Buckingham’s varsity volleyball team, VEX club volleyball, orchestra violin player, and choir performances.
Outside of school Ms. Reynolds has worked as a cashier at McDonalds and is currently working as a retail
associate at Bed Bath and Beyond. Her work experiences have taught her interpersonal skills, customer service,
self-reliance and maintaining a balance between her academics with work responsibilities. Najae has volunteered
at the McBride Center for a thanksgiving dinner with setting up for the event and as a server. She has also
volunteered as a server at the CAASC scholarship dinner and the MCBride Senior Center Chinese New Year
Celebration both in 2017 and 2018. Lastly, Ms. Reynolds volunteered for the Kaiser MLK Day of service by
helping out with elementary school restoration with planting new plants and flowers to beautify their campus.

Najae plans to pursue a degree related to music engineering, producing, and technology. Ms. Reynolds is hard-
working, talented, adaptable, and open to new challenges that has allowed her to take on various opportunities
while maintaining a good balance between her academics, interests, and volunteer work. I have enjoyed working
with Najae as her school counselor and I am fully confident that she will succeed with her future endeavors.
