Welcome to Miss Rodriguez’s Science Class

Hello, and welcome back! My name is Miss Rodriguez, and I will be

your student’s 7th grade science teacher. I received a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Middle Level Education from Coastal Carolina University. My
two content areas are science and math.

This year your student will explore the different 7th grade science
topics that include Classification and Conservation of Matter, Organization
in Living Systems, Heredity – Inheritance and Variation of Traits, and
Interactions of Living Systems and the Environment. We will be learning
through many different forms of instruction such as small/large group
instruction and laboratory explorations.

In my classroom, there will be a caring and nurturing atmosphere in

which all students have a voice. Everyone should be willing to participate
in all classroom discussions, and they should not be afraid to speak up.
