Third Part of Trees
Third Part of Trees
“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood,
and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and
all green grass was burnt up.”
Ezekiel 17:24; “And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have
brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up; the green
tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have
done it.”
These trees are people: Mark 8:24; “I see men as trees, walking.” Judges 9:8-10,
tells us they went to anoint a king, but the olive tree said one thing and the fig
another. Deuteronomy 24:29, tells us ‘thine’ olive tree thou beatest.
Deuteronomy 20:19, 20 says trees are the field of a man’s life and he will
employ them in the siege. Job 14:7, tells us there is hope of a tree and Job 24:20
says the wicked shall be broken as a tree. (Proverbs 11:30)
The Old Testament temple described the trees located inside (Ezekiel 41). Isaiah
14:7, 8(9), describes the trees as singing (Revelation 15:3) and clapping their
hands (Isaiah 55:12). God smote and brake the trees, (Psalms 105:33). This is the
highest honored of God’s people which are his silver and gold but he has to
refine them to bring back that purity before his return.
Zechariah 13:8; “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.”
Revelation 8:7 tells us that the hail and fire (other two groups of people) will
persecute the one third (blood). Zechariah 4:11-14 tells us they will give of
themselves and their branches will be made white: Joel 1:6, 7, 8; and lament as
a virgin (Revelation 14:4).
These are the great multitude (Revelation 7:9) that are clothed in white robes.
