Dear Ms. April,

Thank you so much for the opportunity with interning in the Winston-Salem State University
Athletics. This time that I have spent with you during this learning experience was great and I’ve
gained a lot of knowledge and tools to help me in the future.
This experience in WSSU Athletics has been something to remember going forward in my future
endeavors. During my experience, I have improved in my networking, communication, and
problem solving/decision making skills. You pushed me to learn ways to lead a team and create
innovative and creative ideas that could help an organization later. I want to thank you for the
opportunity to network and interact with the administration and get to learn how to effectively
run a professional meeting. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about equipment in
sports.
These past few months have been tremendously helpful and a great insight to what I want to
do in my career. The opportunities that were presented were great to show me that this career
path isn’t easy and will test you every single day. I’m thankful for everything that you’ve done
for me this semester to show me that this experience was just a taste of the real experience.
