Gameplay Group Reflection

When playing RuneScape with my teammate I had a different experience than when I did

playing by myself. When I had to play by myself I would get very bored, confused, sometimes

frustrated, and time went by really slow. When playing with my partner I had someone to talk to,

ask questions with, compare levels, quests, and characters. It felt like my teammate, Tiera and I

were on the same page. We were on completely different levels though. She was on level 10

while I was only on level 3. That was not a big issue, but she was just way ahead of me. It was a

helpful because I was able to know what was coming up in the game and I could ask her plenty

of questions. It felt like we had about the same questions and/or struggles but we were able

figured them out, or at least keep playing. My teammate did not necessarily teach me much. But

I definitely learned more just by working as a group. It was useful to have someone to help me

out, or just to conversate with about the game in general. Playing RuneScape is not my favorite

thing to do, so having someone to play with made the game a little more enjoyable. I did not get

as bored as quickly. Having and playing with my teammate did not stress me out more. Making a

meeting time and having to play for an hour and a half kind of stressed me out mainly because it

can be tough finding a good time to meet for everybody, and I am not the biggest fan of the

game. Having a teammate made it a little less stressful because it made time go by quicker, and I

enjoyed it more than when I played it the first time. In the classroom I do not know any of my

classmates very well besides my two friends that I already knew prior to this class. I have not

made any new connections yet. It was nice to meet up with someone new who I have not really

talked to before. I wish we had a larger group so I could of met up with some more of my

classmates. But it was also nice to just have a partner rather than a group. It is much easier to
find a good meeting time with only one other person rather than three or four. I made my

character look similar to me. She has brown hair, in space buns, and is in red clothing. My

partner Tiera kind of did. Her character has red hair, also in two space buns, and in red clothing.

I really liked the way she dressed her character, and we had similar features such as the hairstyle

and our clothing. Her character definitely remind me of her. This was a positive experience for

me, and I was able to get to know one of my classmates better than I did before.
