Student Writing Reflection Sheet

Name: Isaac Camacho Moreno Period: 2nd Date: 3/20/2019

Class: Senior English Teacher: Ms. Figueroa

Assignment Title: Q3 Macbeths Downfall

Student Writing Goal: My goals for writing assignments is to do way better than a 75% and get a least 80% or higher.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this writing assignment was to explain who the downfall of Macbeth was and we had to
choose who it was in the story and explain why they made him his downfall.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
How I performed with the expectations of the writing rubric was okay, I just made mistakes with punctuation
and contractions but everything else I did good.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well with putting good quotes that the audience will understand what’s going on in the story such as
“Glamis thou art, and Cawdor; and shalt beWhat thou art promised. Yet I do fear thy nature; it is too full o’
th’ milk of humans’ kindness (Shakespeare 1, 5, 12-14)”. Which means that what’s done is done and cannot
change the past.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I chose to revise this writing assignment because I wanted to get a better grade than a 75%.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I would like to have less contractions and explain the time line of the story instead of rewriting it and getting
a lower grade on it. I would do it by letting my older brother check it or letting one of my old English
teachers check it.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I had less mistakes on this writing assignments which is good but I want to have an assignment without any
mistakes, where everything is perfect.
3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.
