My Reflection

Throughout learning this process, I had a lot of trouble with following the youtube

videos I used as a resource. I had to change my project plan several times, due to this.

Despite this, I was overall pretty happy with my results. I feel like I now have the hang of

creating a 3D effect using animations in Adobe Premiere. I learned a lot about using the

swivel tool as and the pen tool. I now feel like I could do this project multiple times,

without any trouble.

I would definitely teach this project to a class. I think it’s important to learn Adobe

Premiere. People wouldn’t normally think that you can use Adobe Premiere as a

platform for animations, so I wanted to highlight that the multiple ways you can make an

animation in my presentation. Adobe Premiere is a difficult application to use, but it has

some rewarding effects.

I think it would also be fun for students to go home and find an image of a place that

holds importance to them, or take a photo of themselves in their favorite place. This

would get them thinking about why they value these specific spaces. During critique we

would reflect on the story everyone told through their animations. Each students

animation could be more original with the use of additional effects as well.
