 People stared at Clare’s rare,
dark blue car.
“Your car is so sharp,” they said.
“ It has so much charm and flair.”
Dogs would bark as Clare honked
her horn at them.

 In March, Clare wanted to take her car
for a long drive.
She wanted the air to blow through her hair.
But she did not know how far
her car would go before it fell apart.
