Equipment List

Video Camera: A video camera will be vital for our short

film because without it we will not be able
to film any footage. When we start filming,
we will either use one of the video cameras
from the Ravens Wood Media Department
or we will use an I Phone as they still have
good quality camera.
Tripod: For our short film we will need to use a
tripod because we will need to keep our
footage looking steady and professional.
Also, because our genre is horror the action
will be fast paced which means we will need
the Tripod to keep our work looking
professional. We will most likely rent a
Tripod from Ravens wood media
department.
3-4 Extra Batteries: We are going to take 3-4 extra batteries with
us when we're filming. We are going to take
spare ones incase when we're filming the
camera dies and we will not be able to film
any more footage.
Camera Stabilizer, We are going to use a Gimbal or a Camera
Gimbal for I phone: Stabilizer because they are devices designed
to hold a Camera, which helps to prevent
camera movement, such as Camera shake.
Umbrella: We are going to use an Umbrella whilst
filming outdoor scenes because we can use
it to help protect our equipment. We will
put it above the equipment to stop them
from getting wet, damaged and ruined from
Rain / Water.
Premier: We are going to use premier editing
software to edit our video. We need to do
this because if we did not edit our video all
the shots and different scenes would not
combine well and would not look up to
quality.
Lighting: Lighting will be rented for a week of filming
this can rented for £16 a day. This will be
used when we are filming in the dark so we
can illuminate the characters and the
location
SD card + Backup The production team will provide this. We
need an SD card to store all our footage.

Costumes: We will need costumes for our film so our

cast can look like the characters we have
created and designed. Also, we have
costumes in our film so we can fit the
convention of horror.
