Company Profile

Line Seiki is a global leader in industrial, professional, and personal counters -

serving the needs of markets across the Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. As a

pioneer in counting technology, it has perfected the science and art of measurements

while keeping up with the latest counting technology.

For 60 years now, Line Seiki has served this everyday need to count, measure,

track, and monitor various activities through its wide variety of industrial counters,

measuring instruments, and sensors.

The company’s history can be traced back in 1949, following World War II, in

Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; a trading company handling precision-measuring tools was

inaugurated. In 1951, the "Line" brand was established. The opening of the first factory

was in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan. In 1988, the company expanded its operations to Seoul,

Korea and Taiwan. In 1999, it entered the market with the establishment of Line Seiki

Asia Pacific, Inc., based in the Philippines. In 2006, Line Seiki Philippines, Inc. was

recognized by the Philippine Export Zone Authority as an IT Enterprise. In 2007, Clean-

room and COB facilities were established, allowing for delicate and critical sub-

assemblies in-house, assuring higher quality products and better delivery times.

Line Seiki has six branches worldwide. They are located in Korea, Taiwan,

Philippines, and Japan. The head office and the mother company are situated in Japan.

Line Seiki products are designed and manufactured with the users in mind. The

company is committed to provide only high quality and reliable products to its customers.

The line of products include the most advanced: Electronic Counters, Electronic Hour

meter/Minute meter etc., Electromagnetic Counters, Length Counters, Electric Hour

meters, Mechanical counters, Rotary Sensors and Encoders, Tachometers, Digital

Thermometers, Measuring Instruments, Tally Counters and other customized products.

Product applications include metal tooling, textile, printing, agriculture, electric

wire, plastic film, traffic surveying, environmental measurements, and industrial

measurements.

Line Seiki Philippines, Inc. is a Small Medium Enterprise (SME). The company is

located at Lot 3&5 Blk. 22 Phase IV, Cavite Export Processing Zone, Rosario, Cavite.

The company was incorporated on September 6, 1995. It started its operation in March of

1996. It is ISO 9001-2008 certified. The size of the land is 11,000 m2 and the building is

2, 000 m2. The capital of the company amounts to Php 50,000,000.00. The company is

headed by Mr. Shunji Oyabu and managed by Mr. Toshiki Kusakari. As of October 6 of

the current year, the total number of employees of the company is 136 consisting of 53

administrative and supervisory staff and 83 workers. Its main products consist of

electromagnetic counters, mechanical counters, electronic counters,

thermometers/tachometers, and switches.
