Establish a culture where employees effectively benefit having work life balance and stay
rejuvenated.
Ensure uniform standards and procedures respecting the provision and administration of leave
for employees of the organization.

Provide an employee leave program that will facilitate monitoring the various forms of leave
and ensure accurate application.

Ensure that employees, supervisors, and department heads are familiar with
organisation's leave program.

Provide a system of record keeping for organisation’s leave tracking system (for pay roll).

TYPES OF LEAVE

•10 days of leave per calendar year


•Availed as Casual or Sick Leave/ Medical

10 days in June
(Summer Break)

10 days in October/November

(Winter Break)

Personal leave or summer & winter break will not be cumulative, nor carried over .

Maternity Leave (26 weeks)


The Maternity Benefit Amendment Act, 2017 has increased the duration of paid
maternity leave available for women employees from the existing 12 weeks to 26
weeks. Under the Maternity Benefit Amendment Act, this benefit could be availed
by women for a period extending up to a maximum of 8 weeks before the
expected delivery date and the remaining time can be availed post childbirth. For
women who are expecting after having 2 children, the duration of paid maternity
leave shall be 12 weeks.
All other categories of leave are in consonance with Maternity Benefits
Amendment Act, 2017 and stands applicable.

Paternity Leave (2 weeks)

A male employee is eligible for 2 weeks of paternity leave post his child birth.
