Purpose:​ T​ his assignment will allow candidates to consider how useful tools within the G Suite apps are for teaching
and learning. Candidates will create three (3) ideas from different G Suite apps for future classroom use in
your licensure area.

1. G Suite for Educators​ (a.k.a. Google Apps) have many different uses for teachers. Since Google
provides ​FREE and HTML based​ (i.e., no downloading required) applications, it becomes essential for
educators to understand all of the different ways to use Google in your classroom. Some Google
applications are Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drawings, Sites, Keep, Jamboard, Groups, Earth,

and more.

2. Go to these sites and use them to learn how to use the apps on G Suite for classroom purposes.

3. Considering all of the G Suite apps explain how you would use three (3) ​different​ apps (e.g., Drive, Docs,
Sheets, Slides Forms, Drawings, Sites, YouTube, Keep, Jamboard, Earth, Hangout, etc.) as a teacher and provide an
example for each.
a. Create an example for each of the three (3) apps you choose (e.g., parent survey, student interest
survey, pre-assessment, quizzes) as a teacher AND ​share it with me​ using the share setting of “Anyone
with the link from Cedarville”.

Explain how you would use this I can use Google Forms to create exit slips and surveys for my students that
in your licensure will help me gauge their learning and make adjustments that I need. I can also
send out occasional parent surveys to see how I can better help them and
hear any suggestions they have. In this case, I created a student survey that
will allow me to see the how to guide and better prepare my students for
tests.
