Week of April 29th

Senior Information:
1. Ticket sales for the May 21​st​ senior trip to Cedar Point are now available on Revtrak for $80.
Starting on Monday, April 29th you can purchase tickets with cash only in the cafeteria until
May 9th. See Ms. Counterman with any questions.
2. Caps and gowns will be available for pick up starting this Friday at lunch!
3. Presentations for senior seminar will be starting soon (some this week!). Please let someone in
Thrive know if you are worried about your presentation. We try to make sure that someone
from Thrive can attend each presentation! For those of you who are still finishing up your
internships, don’t stress. We’ll make sure you have your presentation next week or the week
after.
4. Seniors 5th and 6th hour finals are on May 15th. 3rd and 4th hours finals are on May 16th
(seniors are excused that day after 4th hour). Senior 1st and 2nd hour finals are on May 17th
(seniors are excused that day after 2nd hour).
5. Senior locker clean out is during school on May 15th.
6. Last day for seniors is May 17th.
7. If you have not heard already, you will be hearing from Mrs. Hiester soon about scheduling
CTC IEPs. They will most likely take place after the last day for seniors.
8. Senior breakfast and sendoff is on May 23rd. Some staff from the classroom will also be
attending to help. School transportation is provided.
9. Graduation is May 24th at Miller Auditorium from 7-9pm. Seating is first come first served.
10. Thrive’s end of the year field trip is June 7th, we would love to have all seniors come back to
join us!

The P2P Talent Show was this past Wednesday! We are working on getting all of the videos to
students and parents. If you don’t have a video yet, you’ll get it this week!

The class bank and store will be open this week. We’ll make deposits today and the store will be
open Tuesday.
We are continuing our classroom budgeting game called My World. This program will help you to
understand how to navigate real world situations involving money, budgeting, and bill paying. We will
be working on this at least once a week. This week we will add a couple more expenses.

We will be beginning to learn about the Zones of Regulation in the upcoming weeks. This is a great
program to help you learn how to better understand your own feelings and what to do if they start to
feel out of control.

Mattawan students! For anyone who wants to join our schools fight against childhood cancer
applications to join the dream team are in the office now! Please grab one, fill it out, and turn it into
the office by May 1st!
