Syngas Production From Regasified liquefied Natural Gas And It´s Simulation Using
Aspen HYSYS.

At present a great demand of energy is required for the realization of its processes, but, it
is a very necessary resource for the transformation of raw material to finished product, It should
be noted that it is a non-renewable resource generating exuberant production costs having as a
consequence both environmental and economic so they are obliged to generate substantial
savings by means of tools that allow us to evidence at the time such moments as was a simulation
of a synthesis gas production unit using the ASPEN HYSIS tool with the aim of allowing the
production of Syngas from regasified liquefied natural gas as raw material, therefore, the
simulation consisted of placing conditions and parameters of temperature and pressure obtained
by means of ammonia from fertilizers and products, therefore, the simulation consisted of placing
conditions and parameters of temperature and pressure obtained by means of ammonia from
fertilizers and products.
Therefore, the components used in this process are: methane, water, carbon monoxide,
carbon dioxide, molecular hydrogen, molecular oxygen and components for the production of
simple gas.
In addition, the package used to carry out the simulation process was the Peng-Robinson
(PR), since it is the best model specified in ASPEN HYSYS and has greater applicability relative
to temperature and pressure because it is suitable for carrying out the system containing
hydrocarbon gas, air, water and combustion.
The results obtained in the stationary state simulation process using ASPEN HYSYS to
estimate the operating conditions for the synthesis gas as raw material, resulted in the
experimental data of the ammonia plant in the stationary state of the process where the energy
used at the time of its operation represented high economic costs, However, in the long term it
had the purpose of reducing non-renewable resources, which at the time of being optimized
yielded raw materials and cleaner and cheaper fuels. This led to a reduction in energy in the
production of synthesis gas in the unit.
