▪ During this experience, I prepared lessons, taught lessons, created classroom community and rapport with
students, attended PLC meetings on new math curriculums, and assist in coordinating classroom events
Reading Intervention—Goodhue Elementary—Second Grade—8 hours—Spring 2019
▪ During this experience, I prepared specific lessons towards an intervention the students needed to work on,
specifically, fluency.
Six Week Student Teaching Experience—Rochester Public Schools: Gibbs Elementary—Kindergarten—
240 hours—Fall 2018
▪ During this experience, I prepared lessons, taught lessons, created classroom community and rapport, assisted
in classroom set up, attended PLC Workshops such as, Sharroky Hollie and Anton Treuer, and assisted with field
trip coordination.
External Clinical at Rochester Public Schools: Gibbs Elementary—Kindergarten—30 hours—Fall 2018
▪ During this experience, I prepared and taught lessons, worked on social emotional skills, and assisted the
cooperating teacher with day to day requirements.

▪ During this experience, I prepared and taught literacy lessons according to the student’s reading level.
First Grade Literacy Small Group Lesson—3 hours-- Spring 2018
▪ Planned and implemented a small group lesson according to IRLA reading level
External Clinical at Rochester Public Schools: Kellogg Middle School—6th Grade—30 hours—Spring 2018
▪ During this clinical at Kellogg Middle School, I gained the opportunity of working with sixth grade students in
small group as well as whole group, built relationships with students as well as faculty, and had the opportunity
of helping plan lessons.
Writer’s Workshop Observation—2nd Grade—Rochester Public Schools: Pinewood Elementary—
2 hours—Fall 2017-Spring 2018
▪ Throughout my two-hour observation at Pinewood Elementary, I gained the opportunity of observing students,
gather notes, such as writing samples and observations I saw in the classroom, and work with students through
their writing. After these two hours, I was able to write an analysis pertaining to their growth in writing.
2nd Grade Running Record—Rochester Public Schools: Riverside Elementary—5 hours—Winter 2017-
Spring 2018
▪ In second grade, I was given a student to work with to better understand their reading level. I conducted an
interview and conduct a running record. After that, I analyzed the student’s work to understand their reading
level.

▪ During a two-week duration, I had the opportunity to sit in on a classroom activity pertaining to a science
lesson, Bubble-ology.
External Clinical at Rochester Public Schools: Jefferson Elementary—2nd Grade—30 hours—Fall 2017
▪ During this time at Jefferson Elementary, I built relationships with my cooperating teacher, her class, and
fellow staff. I observed the classroom, taught lessons, and worked in small groups.
Zebra Fish Clinical—Mayo Clinic—20 hours—Fall 2017
▪ During this time, I had the experience of attending workshops at Mayo Clinic. I was taught how important it
was to incorporate science into a curriculum, especially Zebra Fish.
