Executive Summary

inefficient, thus the management need a quick and on point solution to overcome this problem.
Operational Excellence includes aggregating and aligning all corporate activities with a singular
goal. To achieve Operational Excellence is to sustain a system that ensures all facets and levels
Almost 1 year since its acquisition, Boardriders Inc. hasn’t integrated their organizational
structure yet. We interviewed some of the employees and found out that changes that happened
make them feel uncertain and demotivated. On the other hand, cultural values or different norms
of people within each companies integrated and also other variables in those companies can also
be a problem. In numbers, after Billabong Inc. acquisition, BOD of Boardriders also set target
for saving $93M of EBITDA. The target is projected to save in average $23.25 million each
year.
Operation Excellence Management has been proven to be a good method in resolving a
lot of problem in company operational issues and increase their performance and efficiency.
