Dear Rotaractors!
Greetings from president! It was a great to meet you all guys through this
TEAM our monthly bulletin. I like to thank all the members for your support to
cross 6 successful months. I thank my team for full cooperation and support for
the entire month. I extent my thanks to my dear board members for your
planning.
Last two month we have completed a greater number of successful events. I like to
appreciate First Year Rotaractors for your effort to complete number of events by yourself. Hope
soon we will release our club directory. It was a wonderful moment Magil vithu magil New year
celebration. I thank everyone who gave your support.
I thank Dr. P. Mani, our club faculty advisor for his advice and guidance towards the
success. I appreciate Rtr. Navamadhan for his effort on releasing this bulletin.

Faculty Advisor’s Message

December 2018 is designated as Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.

It’s planned to visit Anbalayam home, Gundur, Trichy – home for mentally
retarded. Congratulations to Rtr. R. Navamadhan Club Editor & Rtr. Er. J. Rishwan
Khan DCE those who are deputed to attend International RYLA at Sonipat, Haryana.
Some of the international services also planned in this month. Christmas celebration
is planned in this month.

International RYLA
O.P. Jindal Global University, December 21-23

The International RYLA was organized by the RI Dist. 3011 at the premises of O.P. Jindal
Global University, Sonipat, Haryana. Our members Rtr. R. Navamadhan & Rtr. J. Rishwan Khan
were selected from our club to attend the great event and develop their leadership skills. It was a
lifetime experience which gave a true friends and evergreen memories. The RYLA had a lot of
useful sessions and training periods which gave them knowledge on social life. Zumba and
various recreational activities were also present. Marathon was conducted on Day 3 and it’s a
proud moment that both of our Rotaractors bagged Bronze medal. It was a super fun and healthy
move to participate in the International event from our college based club. Hope the lesson’s from
The RYLA provide them a wonderful Rotaract year ahead. Letter heads were also exchanges with
various clubs of different International Districts.

Board Meeting
Anna University, Dec 20-Thursday

The board meeting was held at B016 at the premises of Anna University, Trichy. The Board
members along with Bloodbot Chairman Rtr. S. Balaji attended the meeting and made the
discussions over the second part of the year. Rtr. S. Balaji was given the extra in charge of
Arivuchudar Club Chairman along with Rtr. Durai Prakash. Account details were submitted by
Treasurer Rtr. R. Manju and the fund details were calculated for the upcoming events. Our clubs
activities and their feedback was provided by our faculty advisor Dr. P. Mani. Election Details for
the next year team was discussed under our IPP Rtr. V. Kethareswaran and the dates were fixed.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Secretary Rtr. V. Vignesh.

Magilvithu Magil
Anbalayam, Trichy. Dec 30- Sunday

Enjoying Happiness by making others happy is the main motto of Magilvithu Magil. Rotaract
club of Anna University decide to spread joy towards people of orphanage with mental disorders.
We organized a dress collection drive for the students of Anna University and gathered as much
dress we can and decided to give it to them. They accepted the dress we love. Rtr. J. Rishwan
Khan spoke with the inmates and made them sing songs and gave speech about them. It was a
melting experience to listen to their stories. Sweets were distributed among them and various fun
activities were organized. Mr. Ganesh Babu & his family were also present with us and specialized
the experience. Mrs. Ganesh Babu taught the inmates a song and asked them to practice it
regularly. It was a great occasion in spending the time with a different perspective.

Editor’s Note

Rotaract Greetings!!
It’s been a great month. The Rotaract club of Anna University gave me the
wonderful opportunity to attend the International RYLA at Sonipat. It is an
evergreen and memorable experience for me. I had a great time making new
friends and learning lessons worthy for life. Our club has successfully completed
three months. We have completed more than 50 projects for our community, club &
Professional combined. After enjoying our semester holidays, the energy we have
got will be channelized to upcoming events and services. Our club’s board have taken several
important steps towards next year team and Election process. It will be taken over by Rtr. V.
Kethareswaran. I thank our faculty advisor Dr. P. Mani for making dynamic leaders.
