Dear Judges:

I was born in North Troy, Vermont. Moved down to South Carolina when I was 13 and have
been here since. My last four years of high school I have been very active in HOSA and took part
in the opportunities to be apart of the community. I look forward to graduation, not to be out of
school earlier but because I can not wait to start my medical career.

I was motivated to do this topic because I have always been passionate about being an organ
donor and helping those around you. I am a true believer that you can help others while your
breathing and once you stop. One should never stop helping others. I developed new views and
prospectives on the world from the volunteering part of my project. Helping others was
important to me before but after being apart of the Keep Swimming Foundation and volunteering
I wanna do soo much more for others. When I join the medical field wanting to be so helpful will
benefit not only me but my patients.

This project has benefited me greatly. I meet Bill Coon my mentor because of this project and
now will be apart of a life-changing foundation for the rest of my life. I appreciate all I have
learned and done this school year. I am proud of my project and would not change anything
about it. I am most proud of the work I have done for the Keep Swimming Foundation.

I thank you, judges, for sitting with me and listening to my project. It had been a privilege to
share my project with all of you and to bring you along this journey as I found a new sense of
myself with this project.
