Update: Non Conformance & Offence
 Purpose of the Seminar
To inform all Registered Engineers of the major amendments to the
Registration of Engineers Act 1967 due to liberalization.

To inform the impact of the amendments on how BEM will regulate the
local and foreign Engineers including the Engineering Industry.

To inform on how BEM will register local or foreign Engineers including

those related to the Engineering Industry.

To inform on the entities (whether local or foreign) who will be allowed to

“practise” and supply professional engineering services in Malaysia.

To inform on the “set-up & composition” of Engineering Consultancy

Practise or firms/companies etc. allowed to supply professional
engineering services.

To inform the relevant Government Ministries, Departments, Agencies &

Public to distinguish who are the “Engineers & Companies” allowed to
supply professional engineering services.
