This is my tutor for beginning algebra, I stayed after class in order to fulfill my

tutoring hours required for the class. My tutor was helpful with assisting me with my

homework that I kept getting confused with and teaching me the format in order to solve

for them, It took a couple of hours for me to learn the strategies but after a few jokes

with my tutor and patient cooperation we manage to finish off our session positive by

completing all the task right on time five minutes before she had a class to teach.

I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy being in tutoring until I met with my teacher. She

taught the lessons without making them too complicated and allowed me to work at my

own pace in order to learn them fully. Everything went according to plan as I got to finish
three of my own homework assessments like I wanted and learn some problem solving

strategies for algebra, I was able to learn how to solve for linear equations and

formulas. Which is why I have such a big smile in the photo with my tutor.

I believe that going into the learning lab is very useful in order to get a boost and

stay up to date with college work, so far my experiences with the learning lab have been

positive and I will definitely be going a lot more often if I am ever in need of some extra

help for a certain class. All the tutors there are easily approachable and give off a vibe

that they want to help and are happy to assist. I hope to meet up with my same tutor

that help me with my algebra homework as to me she is better than my professor in the

class that I am taking.
