Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman,​ ​what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Some ways I have evolved as a student since my freshman in my core classes, is I started to try a
little harder in all my core classes around my sophomore year. My biggest challenges these past
4 years has been math. Math has been my biggest struggle to overcome. I did not believe in
myself but Mrs. Lawson did. She rewarded me with student of the month my sophomore year.
Another big challenge was keeping up with the piles of homework from all the core classes.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

During my last semester I need to push myself as hard as I can possibly push myself. I want to
graduate knowing I tried my hardest to accomplish all my goals.
