VILLONO, ALLYSSA MARIE M.

4IE-B

All three films have its own difference or ways of showing how
entrepreneurs can be successful through persuasion, influence and sacrifice. There are
sometimes consequences to each action but learned from it and make it a lesson to
work even harder along the way. It makes me interested more in business and
entrepreneurship, that I can also achieved my goals by staying focus and strive more to
be successful in near future.

The First film I watched is The Wolf of Wall Street. It teaches about
leadership, friendship and hard work, but sometimes success can be tempting to make
bad decisions for instant gratification. The most successful entrepreneurs are the ones
that can avoid those impulses. The goal is to consistently make thoughtful, healthy
decisions. Staying consistent with my lifetime values, no matter what, is a truer base for
success and happiness. I learned that when there is such high degree of intensity,
especially with money involved, people can make poor decisions. Therefore, when
thinking about company culture, there is an important balance to try and strike. While
the actors paid the consequences for those choices, they also had a ton of fun. We all
know and understand that we don’t need illegal activity to put mechanisms in place that
allow for more fun and enjoyment at work.

The next film is The Social Network, which is about the successful Mark
Zuckerberg whose one of the youngest billionaires in the world. The movie portrays the
founding of social networking website Facebook. The lesson in the film is that being
pulled by the inspiration of a big idea within me is more important that doing what the
system tells us to do. It shows Mark Zuckerberg’s confidence, vision and discipline to
make it happen that many people can relate into. It takes weeks of hard work to create
each vision and learning to not giving up to it and knowing I can make it in every
possible way. If we’re having an idea, we should not wait on it. He is a living proof that
with enough vision, talent and hard work, we can change our life in just blink of an eye.
Learn to focus on making the product as amazing as possible and it will begin to sell
itself. Let money chase you, don’t chase the money. Also, to give oneself over to it and
let the journey of following idea take us into a wonderful and brand-new land. It can
make sure that on the other side I will be stronger and wiser person. And lastly, we
should focus on one thing at a time and we’ll be surprised how much progress we can
make.

The last film is The Founder, which is about the story of Ray Kroc, a
struggling salesman turns Founder of McDonald’s. Ray expands McDonald’s through
franchisees, pulls the company from the brothers and creates a multi-billion-dollar
empire. This movie teaches me to explore new ways by taking inspiration and ideas
from different fields. It is about opportunity to advance, to move forward, to move up, to
succeed. It also teaches me to keep your priority straight, and lastly, persistence and
determination alone are all powerful which can help me achieve all your goals in life.
Thinking big requires stretching the boundaries of possibilities. It enables acceptance of
new challenges and creation of capabilities to overcome those challenges.
