 who am I
Hi, I am Tomi Adewusi; also known as ‘When She Speaks’ . I am an
aspired creative director, who is passionate about many aspects of the
creative industry.
As a poet, I tend to spend a lot of my time writing and reading on a
lot of topics that I believe are issues we may be facing in our current
age as well as speaking my mind on topics i am already passionate
about.
As a creative, I have a wide spread of creative areas that I have
delved into. I want to become a creative director, as I am constantly
creating new content, whether that me a short film, poetry piece or a
song. I
love to see my work come to life also help other people reach their de-
sired effects for their own work. In this portfolio, you will see a range
of some of the things I am capable of achieving. Hope you enjoy!

 Scripts

In a script, each scene has to be written very carefully with at-

tention to detail, to make sure the story line is consistent and
meets the directors vision. This specific scene I have here from
an easter production I worked on with a team of people. I was
given an outline of what the scene would be about and was in-
structed to make sure the scene was a minimum of seven min-
utes long. This is one of the few scripts I have written but as
the others have not been produced yet, I can not disclose such
material.

 Treatment

Before goin forward with any production, a treatment must be

created so that everyone involved in the production is aware of the
aims of the piece and can recieve a detailed breakdown of what
would be needed of them scene to scene. A treatment also sheds light
on location, costume, colours and lighting. Here is an example of a
treatment i created for a short film.

 My blog

My poetry blog is an outlet I created to express my opinion on different

topics. All pieces are written by me and all music is chosen by to create
the specific atmosphere for said piece. Here is an overview of how to navi-

 video editing

Every video requires its own editing style to fit the mood
and desired effect of the client. With my editing skills i
am able to use different effects to evoke different emotions
from an audience; concentrating on different aspects such
as range of shots, speed of transitions, audio and music
enhancement. Here is an example of one of my pieces i
have edited recently. All music created in my videos are
also made by myself.

 behind the scenes

Having behind the scenes footage I believe is a key aspect

of the production process, as it allows people to see the pro-
cess of development and capture quality moments. Here are
some of the images I have taken behind the scenes of some
of my shoots.

 Promotion videos

With every up coming video or event, there needs to be a high

quality promotion video that can grasp your audiences attention,
without giving away too much information or spoilers. Here are
