Understanding the Tabernacle
The First things made was the Ark of the Covenant or the Dwelling Place of God
The Mercy Seat was placed on the Ark of the Covenant
Two Promises Given By God!
1. Meet with the Priest
2. Commune With the Priest
It is at this place that Father will meet with the New Testament Priest and Commune
with them also!
We come to the throne of grace to obtain “Mercy & Grace” for the generation who
can’t come to God for themselves. Hebrew Chapter 4!
Understanding the Tabernacle
The next thing made was the Table of Shewbread Exodus 25:23‐30
This is the only piece of furniture that had a crown.
There were twelve loaves of shewbread placed on the table.
This table was symbolic of Jesus Christ!
The table also had feet.
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that
bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings
of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God
reigneth!
Understanding the Tabernacle
The Candlestick was the next piece of furniture Exodus 25:31‐40
This piece of furniture speaks of the Holy Ghost who brings lights to the
Holy Place who shine light on Jesus who gives us our supply.
This lamp could never go out !
It is the exact same way today, He must always burn in our hearts!
We must reconnect with the light and presence of the Holy Ghost
All of our help comes form the Holy Ghost

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if
I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him
unto you.
John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment:
John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto
you.
John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take
of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye
shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Without the Holy Ghost there is no light in the Holy Place.
We must have a personal relationship with the Holy Ghost so
that we can see everything that is ours through our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
Understanding the Tabernacle
The Golden Altar of Incense is the next piece of furniture
True prayer can’t take place until the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus and the suppy
that is available through Him.
The incense was to also burn daily!
This tells us that we must be in prayer daily through the illumination of the
Holy Spirit.

Understanding the Tabernacle
•The Tabernacle was established so that God could dwell with and
communicate with the nation.
• Remember, it was the nation that rejected God’s offer to make
them a Kingdom of Priest
• God still want to be among them for the sake of fellowship and
protection
Exodus 25:8 And let them make me a
sanctuary; that I may dwell among
them.
Understanding the Tabernacle
• The tabernacle provides a way for God to dwell but He will only dwell on His on
terms
• The complete pattern for the tabernacle come from God and it must be followed
to the letter
• The tabernacle furniture arranged in the 1‐3‐2 pattern which is the numerical value
132 which is the number for ELOHIYM which this the plural form of GOD indicates
that the dwelling and everything about the dwelling is for Him.
• Man was created with the purpose of dwelling with and having fellowship with
God!
•Father God has never changed His mind!
•And now He dwells IN man!
•Could it be since the Priestly pattern was changed that the church isn’t walking in
the divine power of God?
Understanding the Tabernacle
• The tabernacle was built by the entire nation, they brought their offerings
unto God for the purpose of building the vision
• God did not allow Israel to spoil the Egyptians so that they would first be rich,
but for the purpose of the vision
• Exodus 25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an
offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall)
take my offering.
• These people were moved to give because they realized that what they had
didn’t come because of their greatness but because of God
• We haven’t pleaded with God to give us the resources that would help the
vision happen, instead we pray for our own issues

Who are the men that built the tabernacle and how do they fit into the plan?
The Spirit gave them: Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge

Understanding the Tabernacle
For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy
ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Isaiah 43.3 (Verse Total is 153)
Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and
fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
John 21.11 (The number of fish is 153)
The number of fish in the nets has to do with the end time harvest. I believe that
Bezaleel name and number of his names gives the church great insight into how God
will built His end time church and reach the end time harvest.
We need the Spirit to anoint us with; Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge!
Of which none of the three sounds exciting!

the doctrine of the spirit. ‐‐Wyclif (1 Cor. ii. 13).
Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart
from evil is understanding. ‐‐Job xxviii. 28.

voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which
are the seven Spirits of God.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and
in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of
eyes before and behind.
Rev 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf,
and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying

which is your reasonable service.
A large portion of the church has not moved beyond this point in their approach to
God!
They are converted, They sacrifice, They acknowledge Priestly leadership
and They give of their resources!
When we meet these believers they are limited in their knowledge of God and His
kingdom realities. It can shock us that they are so limited!
We think they need to be in another church, when they only need to move forward
to the next piece of furniture.
If we can, it is our job to help them read the bible with purpose.

•The swinging means this principle must be in operation even in our travel

•The two rings indicate that it takes the Holy Spirit and Jesus to help us in
our prayer life
Understanding the Tabernacle
Because of where the Altar is positioned when the tabernacle is

Rev 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in
heaven about the space of half an hour.
Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were

Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden
censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it
with the prayersG4335 of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the
throne.
Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the
saints, ascended up before God out of the angel‘s hand.
Morning and Evening the Priest had to attend to the Altar
The two things that had to happen daily by the Priest was to supply the Oil
