Brief description of activity (what was it?):

A counselor from the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) came to tell us about what they can
offer students with a disability to help with careers and college.

Why did you choose to attend this presentation?

I went to this presentation so I could see how the DOR could help me with me future goals.

What did you learn about this career/field that is appealing to you?
I learned that the DOR can help with many things such as paying for training, college, work tools
ect.

What areas of this career/field might be difficult for you?

The DOR will help me figure out what it is I would like to do after high school and they will
help with training and any supplies I may need.

What skills have you already developed that would help you in this career/field?
I can follow directions, rules and am physically active . I know I would like a job that I will be
physically active.

What skills would you need to further develop (or begin to develop) to be successful in this
career/field?
I need to work on staying focused on one thing at a time and not letting my mind wonder.
