Professor Craig Wynne

Hampton University
100 E Queen Street
Hampton VA, 23669

Dear Dr. Wynne:

What I aspire to be apart of is not an organization but a center for higher education. What I aspire
to be apart of is the graduate program at Carnegie Mellon university; also known as CMU. CMU
is known for having the best graduate program for computer science in the United States. They
offer various programs under the computer science umbrella from database systems to cyber
security; They also offer these programs in many different locations ranging from the location of
their campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Japan.

What Carnegie aspires for its students, or its mission per se, is to fuel them to be the strongest in
their respective field as well as being able to pursue any kind of idea that may arise. When
students have an idea for a project CMU will put funding into that student so that they are more
able to accomplish the project idea.

Graduates from Carnegie mellon university are known for their prowess in technology fields as
well as moving up in the corporate chain at their respective corporations. They develop skills and
are exposed to so many different kinds of technologies that they are given what some might call
a leg up. What I would want from this is to be able to develop skills that will help me in my
future career as well as being able to fund any kind of start up ideas I may have as I matriculate
through their program.

Sincerely,

Tauren Bass
